Natasha Ellwood PA-C has been practicing medicine since 2013 and has spent most of her career in community health.  She returned to Mountain Family in 2022 after spending 2 years in the Boulder area where she grew up.   Previously at the Rilfe clinic for 5 years, she is excited to be back in the valley and working on improving her Spanish.  Natasha has Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Phoenix, AZ and a Bachelor in physiology from University of Colorado, Boulder. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, and skiing with her family and dog, Cider.

McKenzie grew up on the front range and lived in several different places, including Boston and Nicaragua, before deciding to move back to Colorado with her family. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Boston College in 2018 and has been working in pediatrics ever since. With a background in quality improvement within community health, McKenzie is particularly passionate about ensuring access to quality healthcare across all demographics, but especially in the younger population. McKenzie is bilingual in English and Spanish. When she does have free time, McKenzie participates in her greatest pastimes: hiking, gardening, camping, and whitewater rafting with her husband, three kids, and their dog, Bruce.

Joanne Teik grew up in Milwaukee, WI and moved to the Vail Valley area in 1994.  She went back to Milwaukee for a couple of years to earn her Physician Assistant degree from Marquette University in 2000.   She has been mostly practicing in Urgent Care and Family Practice.  She has 2 semi-grown children who are taking some time off before they head to college.  She likes to do anything outdoors like bike, hike, raft, skate ski, snowshoe and garden in her free time.

Jeanne Sterricker-Rydell has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2010. Jeanne earned her master’s degree in nursing from Northern Illinois University and has a special interest in diabetes and health coaching. She relocated from Illinois to Colorado with her husband in 2015 to enjoy the mountains and everything else Colorado has to offer. Jeanne likes to hike, bike, garden, and travel to see her family in her spare time.

Lauren has been practicing medicine since 2019. Lauren earned her Master’s of Clinical Medical Science specializing in Physician Assistant studies from Barry University in Miami, FL. Lauren also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University. Lauren recently relocated from Florida to Colorado. Lauren likes to play with her dog, Grizzly, in her spare time. She also participates in equestrian sports and loves to spend time with the horses whenever she can.

Jaime John, PNP, spent 10 years practicing as a pediatric nurse and nurse assistant manager at Children’s Hospital Colorado prior to becoming a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2020. Jaime earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from University of Colorado- Anschutz Medical Campus. Jaime also holds Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jaime and her family recently relocated from Arvada, but she is originally from Illinois. Jaime is dedicated to providing holistic, family-centered, sick and preventative care. Jaime is also passionate about volunteerism and has been fortunate to spend time with organizations such as Round Up River Ranch, Operation Smile, and The Peace Corps. Jaime and her husband like to travel, ski, hike, swim, paddleboard, camp, and chase around their VERY busy baby in her “spare” time.

Kelley has been practicing as a family nurse practitioner for four years and a registered nurse for 25.  She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Regis University in Denver and holds bachelor’s degrees in nursing and economics from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kelley has lived in the valley for most of the last 22 years and loves the beauty and small-town atmosphere of mountain life. She is passionate about providing care to those most in need and has volunteered for 17 international pediatric surgical missions as well as many organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley. Walking, reading, volunteering and travelling are her favorite pastimes.

Dr. Adriene Fedde joined Mountain Family in 2022.  She was raised on a farm in southeastern Colorado and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado.  Adriene served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger prior to entering medical school.  She attended the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University in Israel.  In 2008, Dr. Fedde completed a residency focused on rural, full spectrum family medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  She is excited about providing care to people of all ages and has interests in international, child, and women’s health.  She enjoys traveling and spending time in the great outdoors with her family of four.

Brett Deutscher, FNP-C, has been practicing in health care since 1993 as an RN. She then got her Master’s in Nursing in 2011 from Regis University.  She has been living in Colorado for 30+ years and spends her time biking on roads and mountains, hiking, skiing and cooking up delicious healthful meals. She mostly takes all the evening and weekend calls for Mountain Family and continues to practice her Spanish with patients as much as she can.

Ashley started her medical career in 2012 as an EMT. She attended the University of Colorado for her Bachelors in Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2014. In 2018, she graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University with her master’s degree focusing on adult primary care. Ashley’s passions include nutrition and holistic approaches to health which she combines with evidence-based practice to meet the needs of her patients. While she has lived all over the US from New Jersey to Nashville to LA, the Roaring Fork Valley has been home since 2019. In her free time, she enjoys biking long distances, snowboarding and traveling with her husband, contact improv dance, and cuddling with her cat Goenka.
