Sutton Higgins, MD

Sutton earned her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College, her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at CU. While she grew up in Minnesota, the mountains of Colorado and the western slope in particular have her heart, and she is thrilled to be a part of the valley community! As an internist and pediatrician, she sees patients of all ages and with all medical conditions, with particular interests in adolescent and young adult populations, LGBTQ health, substance use disorder treatment, HIV, autoimmune disorders and renal disorders. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. When she isn’t in clinic, Sutton is a bookworm, a prolific knitter and loves spending time on the trails and the slopes.
