The new Basalt Integrated Health Center grand opening is January 7th, 2019 and is getting closer every day. Crews from Roche Constructors are painting exam rooms, laying flooring, installing cabinets, and are on track to turn the finished space over to Mountain Family in early December. Mountain Family teams will then install medical equipment and supplies in time to provide services for our first patients at our new
home on January 7th.
The new Basalt Integrated Care Center will be located at at 123 Emma Road in Basalt and Mountain Family will provide new and expanded services on site. Those include expanded hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. We will also provide dental services, including our dentist Dr. Connor Rivers, DMD, who will be moving from our Mobile Dental Van to his permanent dental home at the new Basalt Integrated Health Center. Finally, Mountain Family will also offer expanded behavioral health services with individual and group sessions, address issues such as substance use disorders, family counseling, MAT – Medically Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorders and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
We enjoy sharing information about these news services and expansion to community members and partners during our “hard hat” tours of the new Basalt Integrated Health Center as it takes shape. To join a tour, please contact me, Development Director Garry Schalla, at gschalla@mountainfamily.org. Upcoming tours on the schedule are on Monday, December 10th, 7am – 8am (with coffee and pastry) and Wednesday December 12th, 12pm – 1 pm.
With the new Basalt Integrated Health Center Mountain Family can ensure all residents and workers in the Roaring Fork Valley will have access to affordable integrated health care in one location, conveniently located on the main corridor and highly accessible by private and public transportation.
