Louise “Taylor” McKey is a pediatric nurse practitioner practicing at the Avon School Based Health Center. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature at TCU in 2010 and completed a 1-year nursing residency at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth specializing in critical care. Taylor worked as a bedside RN for over six years in Pediatric ICUs in Texas and a Children’s Hospital Colorado in Denver. She received a master’s degree in nursing focused in Pediatric Primary Care at University of Colorado in 2016. She has experience in both pediatric primary care and pediatric specialty care as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Her passions include pediatric preventative medicine, helping children meet growth and developmental milestones, minor acute care and promoting healthy lifestyles for children in our community. Taylor recently moved with her husband and son from Seattle, Washington to Eagle, Colorado. She and her family are very excited to be back in Colorado and enjoying all the outdoor recreation Colorado has to offer. When she’s not at work you can find Taylor hiking, camping, skiing, or spending time with her husband, toddler and golden retriever, Moose.
