Mountain Family leadership, providers, and patients visited Washington, D.C., as part of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum in March. Chief Executive Officer Ross Brooks reports that he was joined by Chief Financial Officer Annette Franta, Dr. Matt Percy, and Mountain Family Board member Karyn ReNae Anderson, and Brandon Fletchall (patient and son of Myrna Fletchall). They met with Senators Cory Gardner (R) and Michael Bennet (D) and Representatives Jared Polis (D) and Scott Tipton (R). All of our Colorado Senators and Representatives signed onto (or verbally committed to signing onto) the 2018 Community Health Center (CHC) funding letters supporting funding for CHCs.
