Mountain Family Health Centers is excited to be a part of RecRx, a new program that provides Medicaid patients with a free 1-month membership at participating recreation centers. Family members are included in the membership.
Patients interested in participating in the program can ask their provider for more information. If a patient uses their pass a certain number of times, the free membership can be extended up to six months.
As of August, participating recreation centers are Mountain Recreation (formerly named WECMRD) in the Eagle River Valley and the Grand Valley Recreation Center serving Battlement Mesa and Parachute. Additional recreation centers in Glenwood Springs and Aspen may join as well.
The RecRx program is coordinated by innovative insurance provider Rocky Mountain Health Plans. RMHP has been a strong supporter of Mountain Family.
