August 2024: Jeanette Castillo BHA
I would like to also nominate Jeanette Castillo for the Mariposa Award. She has been an important asset not only to her department but to the Gypsume clinic. She is always reading to work and always available when needed. She is kind, respectful and uses her time wisely to get her work done. She has become my proxy when I’m not here or is always willing to help in any way. Thank you, Jeanette, for the hard work you do every day at work and always caring for our patients. Gypsum appreciates you so much. You rock.

September 2024: Maria Guzman MA
I also want to nominate Maria for the Mariposa award. I am lucky enough to work with her on the days when I am in Rifle, and it is always a pleasure. She is excellent at her job. She is one of the “go-tos” for hard blood draws in clinic and often teaches me things about the EHR. She is also excellent with patients and often goes the extra mile to make sure they get what they need. She is such an important part of the medical team in Rifle, and we appreciate her immensely.

I would like to nominate Molli Carpenter for the Mariposa award. Molli has been with Mountain Family for many years now, she has seen the organization evolve and has seen the Rifle team transition multiple times. Throughout all this change, she has remained resilient and supportive. Molli believes strongly in the Mountain Family mission and that keeps her working hard every day. She is quick to jump in and help all RNs and Pharmacy with tasks in their boxes. Thank you, Molli, for your awesome work, the nursing team is happy to have you!

Over and over, I hear from our staff how grateful they are for Estevan! He shows up with a smile, and genuinely caring demeanor to help each one of us tackle our IT woes. I personal am thankful for his desire to help, always, and to step in on a moment’s notice to save the day! Estevan, you are truly deserving of this award and we are so lucky to have you at MFHC!
