Rob Stein joined the Mountain Family board in December 2013. He is a Mountain Family patient and is a resident of Garfield County. Rob was superintendent of the Roaring Fork School District through 2022, and has worked in education for 40 years, as a teacher, administrator, university professor and educational consultant. He has taught courses in educational leadership and school reform at University of Colorado, Denver University, and Harvard Graduate School of Education. Rob earned his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at Middlebury College, his Master of Arts at Stanford University and his Doctor of Education at Harvard University. When he is not working, Rob enjoys running, skiing, cycling, reading and service activities.
