Elena is currently a Senior Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is also the Associate Director of Partners Engaged in Achieving Changes in Health Network (PEACHnet), a community-based and primary care practice-based research network that aims to equitably improve health and wellbeing in western Colorado. Before joining the University of Colorado, Elena worked as a research consultant for a variety of global health organizations. She has a background in public health, completing her PhD in 2017 at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Elena lives in Eagle with her husband and two children and is grateful to contribute as a board member to Mountain Family’s crucial mission.
