Dana Peterson, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

Dana joined Mountain Family Health Centers in 2021 and serves as Chief Workforce and Development Officer, leading human resources, workforce strategy, and philanthropic development. She brings a unique blend of HR leadership and development expertise, aligning people strategies with fundraising and mission impact to strengthen organizational capacity.

Prior to Mountain Family, Dana held leadership roles with the City of Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, and Mountain Valley Developmental Services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University, and a Master Certificate in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Villanova University.

Dana is passionate about supporting the workforce behind high-quality patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, as well as running, yoga, skiing, reading, and teaching adult ballet.
