Sarah Smith recently relocated to the Roaring Fork Valley and feels grateful for its beautiful sunrises, vibrant community, and mountain air. She holds a Masters in Social Work from Daemen University and has completed a psychotherapy fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Sarah is trained in various therapeutic approaches, including Creative Arts Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, Open Dialogue, and Structural Family Therapy. Her trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and collaborative approach focuses on unlocking each person’s potential for freedom and growth. Sarah will join Mountain Family’s Glenwood Springs Clinic and High School as a Behavioral Health Provider, with experience supporting individuals with complex trauma, depression, eating disorders, psychosis, and more. She is passionate about working with adolescents, LGBTQIA+ individuals, survivors of religious trauma, and creative artists.
