Olivia Rutherford, MSW, has been with Mountain Family Health Centers since July 2023. Olivia works in both the Glenwood High School clinic as well as the Roaring Fork High School clinic. Olivia earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver in June of 2023 that primarily focused on providing psychotherapy in rural areas. Prior to receiving her advanced degree, Olivia worked in Center Consolidated School District as the Social-Emotional Support Specialist for middle-high school students. Olivia is a Michigan native and moved to Colorado in the fall of 2019. She is passionate about schools as well as providing services to youth embedded in the school system as a means of providing even more student support and advocacy. Olivia focuses on providing individualized therapy for each student and tends to explore more expressive therapy modalities (art, music, movement) as well as more skills-based modalities (dialectical-behavior therapy) in her practice. In her spare time, you can find her walking her toy poodle Bella around West Glenwood with her boyfriend, facetiming her family back home, or binge-watching the latest tv show on streaming platforms.
