Natalie Mendez, MA, LPCC, NCC

Natalie grew up in Avon, Colorado and is excited to be working at the Avon Integrated Health Center and Avon School-Based Health Center. She recently earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and is a certified Child and Adolescent Psychology. Before joining Mountain Family, Natalie completed a yearlong internship at Mind Springs and worked as an independent clinician. She is proud of her time leading group therapy sessions for patients on probation and experiencing addiction. Natalie has previously served as a medical assistant, patient navigator, and case manager. She has four sons with her husband, who is also pursuing a degree in mental health. Natalie is bilingual in English and Spanish and is looking forward to serving her community in a greater capacity. When not at work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and volunteering.
