E.B. Nix grew up in Detroit, MI, but is no stranger to Colorado’s western slope. She spent her winters skiing at Sunlight Mountain, joined by her grandparents who lived nearby. In 2005, she moved to the Roaring Fork Valley and enjoyed her winter as a lifty at Snowmass Mountain. For a few years, she lived in Steamboat Springs, but has since returned to Glenwood Springs. E.B. has a bachelor’s of social work from Colorado State, and a master’s in social work from Metro State, Denver. Since then, she has spent the past seven years at Pitkin County’s Adult and Family Services as a Child Welfare Caseworker and focused her time on prevention work. For fun, E.B. likes to watch True Crime and spend time with her three dogs and three birds.
In addition to working at the Basalt Integrated Health Center, E.B. will also be sharing time at the Basalt High School and Middle School School-Based Health Centers.
