Strengthening Community Health Through the Power of Partnerships

Emily McGavin, CFRE, Director of Development

Mountain Family Health Centers’ community and corporate partnerships are vital for us to meet our mission of improving the health of our community by providing equitable and affordable medical, behavioral, and dental healthcare for all. Community partners such as local hospitals, nonprofits, and schools help identify the community needs and opportunities for collaboration to achieve mutual goals. Their insights and support are invaluable as we navigate the complexities of healthcare delivery.

Our key stakeholders play a pivotal role in our ability to provide comprehensive healthcare to those in need. We rely on in-kind support to carry out our operations. We wouldn’t be where we are today without these critical partnerships, and we are sincerely grateful for their unwavering support.

Corporate giving is also essential for our sustainability, especially as we have faced challenges such as the sunset of federal Affordable Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Support of our Health For All Fund has been instrumental in maintaining a high level of care, particularly for uninsured patients. Despite Medicaid disenrollment rates exceeding projections in Colorado, over 43% of MFHC visits are now from uninsured individuals, up from approximately 35% just 18 months ago.

Business support can take various forms, from an outright gift to workplace giving, implementing a round-up initiative, donating the proceeds of your unique fundraiser, or in-kind support. To show our gratitude, corporate sponsors contributing significant support will receive prominent recognition on our website, in print publications, and across our social media platforms. We understand that one size does not fit all, so we are committed to customizing your support to be mutually beneficial.

Partnerships are vital to sustainability and enhance our outreach efforts and commitment to the health and well-being of our community.
