The impact presented in our latest Impact Report is a testament to the commitment, passion and vision of our Board of Directors, staff, community, and funding partners, for whom we are very grateful for their past, present and future support.
Over the past 40 years, Mountain Family Health Centers has grown into the health care home for more than 20,600 persons, serving the integrated medical, dental and behavioral health needs for individuals and families in Garfield, Eagle, Pitkin and Rio Blanco counties. Mountain Family has made important progress in providing access to care for all, regardless of economic or insurance status, ethnicity or race, as we believe access to affordable health care is a basic human right.
Since 2012, Mountain Family has more than doubled the number of patients served, care delivery sites and world class staff providing care. However, our work is not done. Mountain Family is continuing to expand access to care in Western Colorado. Construction for the new Basalt Integrated Health Center, scheduled to open in early 2019, has begun and the “Building Health for All” capital campaign is seeking funding for this important project. Once completed, the Basalt Integrated Health Center will provide access to affordable medical, dental and behavioral health care for more than 3,700 people each year.
