Tuesday, January 15th at midnight is the deadline for Coloradans to choose a health insurance plan for 2019 without a special enrollment window. Mountain Family Health Centers urges you to not miss this deadline. Mountain Family has Health Coverage Guides available to help residents with the application to look at their options. Enrolling by January 15th will start your health insurance coverage on February 1st.

Plans and prices often change from one year to the next, so it’s important to review your options. Mountain Family strongly encourages residents to take look at available health insurance plans because financial assistance is often available. Don’t leave money on the table, let us help you review your options, and check whether you qualify for a tax credit to lower your premiums. Our Health Coverage Guides can assist residents who need to enroll and apply for financial help during open enrollment, and as well as assistance with Medicaid/CHP+ enrollment.
Our last walk-in event for health insurance assistance is this coming Saturday, January 12th, 11am – 2pm, at the Glenwood Springs branch library. The library is located at 815 Cooper Avenue in downtown Glenwood Springs. If you need help but are unable to attend this event, please call our Health Coverage Guides at 1-833-273-6627 we will help find another way to assist you, which may include walk-in availability on Monday, January 14th and Tuesday, January 15th.
