Thanks to growing help from generous community supporters like you, a bigger, better Basalt Health Center is coming to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2018.
Located just off Hwy 82 at 123 Emma Road, in the former Bristlecone Mountain Sports building, this new state-of –the-art health center will provide integrated primary, dental and mental health care all in a single comprehensive location.
The new health center will serve more than 3,500 patients each year, up from 1,000 now, reaching a much larger share of the more than 8,000 Pitkin County residents who live at less than 200% of the federal poverty level. That’s only $48,600 for a family of four, and many live on far less, yet these families are the very foundation of the Roaring Fork economy. The expanded Basalt Health Center will provide them high quality care, without regard for ability to pay, right where they live and work.
However, the job isn’t done. We still need your help to fully staff and equip this facility. So please join the Basalt capital campaign. Give now or contact Development Director Garry Schalla at gschalla@mountainfamily.org.
