Originally from Cali-Valle del Cauca, Columbia, Lucy moved to the United States in 2010. She began working with Alpine Bank as the Community Inclusion & Engagement Coordinator shortly thereafter. She holds a degree in Social Work from Universidad Del Valle in Cali, Colombia with a concentration in Family and Couples Care in Special Situations. Accessibility is a passion for Lucy; she has spent her thirty-year career helping people gain access to the goods and services they need to live a better life.

Lucy continues to honor her mom, Gladys Arcila de Moncada, through her volunteer and professional work. She is incredibly proud of her son, who she raised as a single mother. Lucy has served on more than a dozen non-profit boards, a reflection of the lifelong passion she has for helping her community. Her greatest professional and personal accomplishment is to help the Latino community through both Alpine Bank and Rotary Club of Roaring Fork, Glenwood Springs – Club Rotario #66015.
