Jovita Cruz Tavera

Jovita joined Mountain Family in August 2020 after working many years in the field of Early Childhood Education. She started as a Medical Assistant in the Edwards Integrated Health Center, then a year later was promoted to Lead Medical Assistant after completing her CCMA certification. In April 2023, she transferred to the IT department and became the EHR Trainer for Mountain Family. Starting in January 2024, she was promoted to Site Practice Director of our newest location at the Gypsum Integrated Health Center. She enjoys her free time with her family and loves playing soccer during the summer. As the Gypsum Integrated Health Center Site Practice Director, Jovita oversees the day to day operations of the health center ensure we provide high-quality medical, dental and behavioral health care for our patients.
