Elaine was appointed to the Mountain Family board in 2022 after retiring from her Ob/Gyn practice after 35 years. Elaine also serves as Program Advisor to the Mira Bus, where she is focusing on women’s and reproductive health services. Elaine is a board-certified Ob/Gyn holding active medical licenses in Colorado, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Elaine also serves on the board of Avery’s Hope a not-for-profit organization specializing in rare childhood diseases. Elaine was on the Executive and Credentialing Committees at Somerset Hospital and Pelvic Health Committee at Hunterdon Medical Center in New Jersey. Elaine also participated in the Covid vaccination programs for both Vail Health and Eagle County. An avid cyclist, hiker, snowboarder, snowshoer, Elaine is right at home in the Vail Valley. Elaine also enjoys cooking, pilates and reading. Elaine enjoys spending her time with her significant other, Bill and her son Jon.
Elaine earned her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. She obtained her medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. Elaine did her OB/GYN residency at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital.
